Florida legend and all-around great guy Tim Tebow has said he will most likely
give Oklahoma’s defense as a sacrifice to the football gods file the necessary paperwork to have the NFL assess his pro potential. He likely joins back of all purposes Percy Harvin – who has already filed – and Georgia running back destroyer Brandon Spikes – who plans to file.
The debate goes on and on about whether Tebow can succeed at quarterback at the next level (The Bull Gator’s stance: at least give him a shot, he may be better suited for something else, but don’t jump to convert him too quickly.). Around these parts, we don’t care so much. At least right now. What we care about is whether or not #15 will be sporting his orange and blue cape in the fall of 2009. But let this be heard: if Tebow truly loves playing QB (and it certainly seems he does), why wouldn’t he come back? His future in the NFL is uncertain, but I can put a 100% guarantee that if he returns to the Florida for his senior year, there’s a good chance Urban Meyer will give him the starting nod. And you can quote me on the quote. End quote.

"Mike" left the following comment earlier today. I've copied it below in case anyone wanted to respond. If he's wondering why I deleted it, well, the bulk of it was nothing more than an advertisement for another site. Next time, ask first and I may play nice.
"As much as Tebow probably loves playing QB, he doesn't have much left to prove on the collegiate field. He could have the greatest season ever his senior year and it won't help his draft stock. However, if he gets hurt or has an off year, he can slide even further. I say he takes the plunge and declares himself draft eligible.
Personally though, I hope he stays for his senior year. I LOVE watching that kid play and I'd be bummed watching him warm a bench for the next few years. We'll see soon though."
