5. Handy Switch – Hedo Turkoglu switches teams. Could he push the Portland Trail Blazers to the next level?

6. Impact Gel – It was probably pills and not a gel, but either way, Calvin Pace has been suspended for the New York Jets’ first four games.

7. Mighty Putty – Regardless of who the Los Angeles Lakers bring in to help defend their title, Phil Jackson is the glue that…well, you know.
